Zorbax 300Stablebond HPLC Columns from Agilent
Agilent ZORBAX 300Å StableBond columns are an ideal choice for the reproducible separations of proteins and peptides for two reasons. Wide-pore, 300Å columns are necessary for an efficient separation of proteins and peptides, or other large molecules, in order to allow these analytes to completely access the bonded phase. 300StableBond columns are unmatched in their durability at low pH, such as with TFA-containing mobile phases. For LC-MS separations at low pH, 300StableBond columns can also be used with formic acid and acetic acid mobile phase modifiers.
These columns are available in five different bonded phases (C18, C8, C3, Diphenyl and CN) for selectivity and recovery optimization of proteins and polypeptides. To further increase sample recovery and improve efficiency for difficult proteins, 300StableBond columns can be used up to 80 °C. Capillary and nano columns can be used for either 1-D or 2-D proteomics separations.

ZORBAX 300StableBond columns are available in four different bonded phases (C18, C8, C3, and CN) for selectivity and recovery optimization of proteins and polypeptides.
ZORBAX 300SB-C18 – bonding a sterically-protected C18 functionality, diisobutyl n-octadecylsilane, to the ZORBAX particle produces a chemically stable stationary phase for long column lifetimes when using acidic mobile phases for the analysis of peptide fragments from protein digests and small proteins.
ZORBAX 300SB-C8 – the sterically protected C8 functionality, diisopropyl n-octylsilane, gives improved separation and recovery for larger proteins, including antibodies.
ZORBAX 300SB-C3 – broadens the selectivity, peak shape and recovery options for larger proteins, including antibodies.
ZORBAX 300SB-CN – suitable for polar molecules at low pH or high temperature, provides low bleed and excellent peak shape.
