Agilent CP-Volamine GC Columns

All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
Agilent J&W CP-Volamine is optimised for the separation of volatile amines such as MMA, DMA and TMA (monomethyl, dimethyl and trimethyl amine). The column is coated with a non-polar stationary phase and produces symmetrical peaks with its Multi-Purpose Deactivation technology. It is the most stable column for analysing volatile amines, even when the samples contain a high percentage of water.
Features
- Non-polar
- Excellent stability for samples containing water expands the application range
- Maximum temperature of 265°C for enhanced productivity
- Highly inert providing sharp amine peaks for accurate results
- Produces symmetrical peaks due to MPD (Multi-Purpose Deactivation) technology
- Excellent performance even when the sample contains water (not as sample matrix)
- Ideal for analysing volatile amines like MMA, DMA and TMA (monomethyl, dimethyl and trimethyl amine)
- Tested with the tightest industry QC specifications for column bleed, sensitivity, and efficiency
- Performance Summary shipped with each column

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.
