Daicel Immobilised Polysaccharide Chiral Columns

Immobilised Chiral Columns from Daicel

The polysaccharide-based CSPs, well recognized for their broad range of applications and remarkable loading capacity, are manufactured by physically coating the polysaccharide derivatives onto silica matrices. Immobilization of the polysaccharide derivatives on a matrix provides universal solvent compatibility. This broadens the range of solvents for mobile phases, thereby introducing new selectivity profiles and improved productivity. Virtually any organic solvent can be used in conjunction with these immobilized CSPs.

Immobilised phases available are:

  • CHIRALPAK IA
  • CHIRALPAK IB
  • CHIRALPAK IC
  • CHIRALPAK ID
  • CHIRALPAK IE
  • CHIRALPAK IF
  • CHIRALPAK IG
  • CHIRALPAK IH

Daicel immobilised polysaccharide chiral columns combine the broad applicability and high loading capacity of coated polysaccharide phases with the universal solvent compatibility of immobilised phases. This provides a high degree of success in screening for an effective chiral separation method.

CHIRALPAK immobilised phases are manufactured by immobilising the polysaccharide derivative around a silica matrix. This provides universal solvent compatibility and allows compatibility with HPLC and UHPLC (reversed phase and normal phase) and SFC methods. Available in a wide range of dimensions from analytical to preparative scale.

Available immobilised phases are:
CHIRALPAK IA - amylose tris (3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) chiral selector (USP L99)
CHIRALPAK IB (-N) - cellulose tris (3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) chiral selector
CHIRALPAK IC - celluloce tris (3,5-dichlorophenylcarbamate) chiral selector (USP L119)
CHIRALPAK ID - amylose tris (3-chlorophenylcarbamate) chiral selector (USP L126)
CHIRALPAK IE - amylose tris (3,5-dichlorophenylcarbamate) chiral selector
CHIRALPAK IF - amylose tris (3-chloro-4-methylphenylcarbamate) chiral selector
CHIRALPAK IG - amylose tris (3-chloro-5-methylphenylcarbamate) chiral selector
CHIRALPAK IH - amylose tris (S)-α-methylbenzylcarbamate chiral selector
CHIRALPAK IJ - cellulose tris (4-methylbenzoate) chiral selector
CHIRALPAK IK - cellulose tris (3-chloro-5-methylphenylcarbamate) chiral selector
CHIRALPAK IM - cellulose tris(3-chloro-4-methylphenylcarbamate) chiral selector
