Avantor® ACE® CN-ES HPLC columns combine CN polar selectivity with enhanced hydrophobicity, enabling the benefits of both interactions to be fully exploited. Extra phase stability and increased column lifetime is provided by an extended alkyl chain spacer between the silica surface and cyano group. Avantor® ACE® CN-ES is suitable for both reversed phase and normal phase separations.
Avantor® ACE® Excel® CN-ES columns, with increased pressure rating of 1,000 bar, are available for UHPLC applications in 1.7, 2, 3 and 5 μm particle sizes.

- Part numbers beginning with ACE have HPLC hardware format with 275 bar / 4,000 psi pressure limit
- Part numbers beginning with EXL have HPLC/UHPLC hardware format with 1,000 bar / 15,000 psi pressure limit
- ACE guard cartridges for analytical columns require stand-alone guard cartridge holder H0001 and column coupler C0001
- ACE UHPLC guard cartridges require holder H0011
