Agilent ZORBAX StableBond C18 (SB-C18) HPLC columns are a non-endcapped C18 phase with bulky diisobutyl side chain groups that sterically protect the key siloxane bond to the silica surface from hydrolytic attack at low pH. They offer the highest stability for low pH applications down to pH 1, and can be used at high temperatures up to 90°C. The high purity, low acidity silica provides excellent peak shape with acidic, basic, and neutral compounds making SB-C18 columns an excellent choice for low pH method development. Available with fully porous silica in 1.8 µm, 3.5 µm, and 5 µm for use on either UHPLC or HPLC instrumentation.
