Chroma Globe crimp caps are 11 mm and come in a variety of colours and septa materials to suit a wide range of applications.
Natural Rubber/PTFE - perfect for multiple injections due to its resealable properties
Natural Rubber/Butyl/PTFE - three-layer sandwich septa combines the excellent physical properties of natural rubber (resealing properties) with the excellent chemical properties of synthetic butyl (purity)
White Silicone/Red PTFE - purest synthetic elastomer and therefore used for critical analyses
Viton – very high thermal and chemical resistance
Pre-slit – penetration aid for blunt needles and to create a valve effect in case of multiple injections
Magnetic – for use in CTC and Thermo Scientific TriPlus Autosamplers
TPF closures – total phthalate free closure system; elastomer and halogen free septa
The aluminium crimp caps are used to seal Chroma Globe crimp vials using Chroma Globe manual crimpers.
Features

- Closures are packed in tamper-evident PE bags to protect from possible contamination
- Septa available in different hardnesses for different needle types
- Used to seal ND11 wide opening Chroma Globe crimp vials
- UltraClean closures contain high-purity silicone/PTFE septa and are recommended for critical GC analysis
- TPF closures contain a high-purity phthalate-free septum, which eliminates the risk of interference peaks due to material abrasion
