GL Sciences Inertsil-SIL HPLC Columns

GL Sciences Inertsil SIL is a pure silica gel column available with either 100 Å or 150 Å pore size. Because of the high quality of the silica gel, Inertsil SIL achieves separation with sharp peaks and provides high column-to-column reproducibility.

Inertsil SIL-100A is the basis for the Inertsil 3-series range from of GL Scineces which places high importance on the silica-gel purity nature of the silanol impurities in the silica gel.

Inertsil SIL-150A is also manufactured using ultra-pure silica gel which contains very low level of metal impurities. Compared to Inertsil SIL-100A, the silica’s surface area is smaller at 320 m²/ g and retentivity of Inertsil SIL-150A is weaker than that of Inertsil SIL-100A.
