All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
Shodex HILICpak VC-50 HPLC columns are polymer-based hydrophilic chromatography (HILIC) columns modified with carboxyl groups. They are suitable for separation and analysis of cationic compounds such as amines and basic amino acids. Excellent chemical stability is provided by the polymeric packing material and minimum deterioration is observed over an extended peroid of time.
Features
- Polymer-based HILIC columns with carboxyl (-COO-) groups
- Robust HILIC columns for analysing cationic substances including amines
- The dominant separation mode is reversed phase or ion exchange rather than HILIC mode
- Ideal for separating aminoglycoside antibiotics, histamine/histidine, and monoamine neurotransmitters
- Polymer-based packing material provides excellent chemical stability
- pH stability of 2 to 12
- Easily regenerated by washing in an alkaline solution
- Suitable for evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD), corona charged aerosol detector (CAD), and mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
