SiELC Promix AP Columns

All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
SiELC Promix AP columns are suitable for the analysis of small and medium size peptides under 3 kDa with a PI value below 7.0. This mixed-mode analytical column has negatively charged acidic ion-pairing groups embedded within long ligand chains.
Promix AP is designed for analysis of short basic peptides. This phase allows the retention of peptides with several histidine and lysine residues. A pH gradient is the most convenient way to control retention of basic peptides. It is recommended to use a buffer with a neutral or slightly acidic pH (4.5 – 7) in the beginning of the gradient and use a more acidic buffer (pH 2 – 3.5) at the end of the gradient elution.
Features
- Stationary phase for small and medium size peptides under 3 kDa with pI value below 7.0
- Reverse phase and ion-exchange mechanism of interaction
- Use acidic mobile phase pH from 2 to 5.5
- Use ion strength of at least 20 mM
- 100 Å and 300 Å pore sizes are available
- Completely scalable from capillary to prep
- Guard columns connect directly to columns and do not require any additional holders
- Promix range also includes Promix MP for medium sized peptides (1 to 10 kDa) and Promix SP for small peptides under 1 kDa with pI value below 6.0
