The puriFlash XS-Vap from Advion-Interchim Scientific is a compact, multi-sample nitrogen evaporator designed for efficient and controlled solvent removal in laboratory workflows. Suitable for evaporation of sample volumes ranging from 1 mL to 250 mL, it is capable of processing up to 90 samples simultaneously, making it ideal for high-throughput environments in research, development, quality control, and process labs.
This system features a translucent water bath, allowing continuous visual monitoring of sample levels throughout the evaporation process. The bath can reach temperatures up to 90 °C, and heating is rapidly achieved via an intuitive digital interface. Users can control the heating temperature directly through the integrated touchscreen, which also provides real-time feedback on system status.
A key design element of the XS-Vap is its individually adjustable needle height, which enables precise alignment with sample liquid levels. This reduces evaporation time by up to 30% and nitrogen consumption by up to 50%, contributing to both efficiency and cost savings. Further nitrogen control is made possible through an independent gas inlet equipped with a flow control valve. The system operates at a low supply pressure of 1.5 to 3 bar, further minimising gas usage.
The compact footprint of the puriFlash XS-Vap allows flexible placement under or outside fume extraction systems, and its plug-and-play functionality ensures a quick start-up with minimal setup. Two modes – Manual and Timer – offer adaptability depending on workflow requirements. The software also supports selection of specific lines for evaporation, rack sizing, and internal lighting control.
Designed to support routine concentration tasks without compromising compound integrity, the XS-Vap integrates seamlessly into diverse laboratory applications requiring reproducible and efficient solvent removal.
