Agilent’s AdvanceBio sialic acid kits provide a streamlined, high-sensitivity solution for profiling and quantifying sialic acids in therapeutic glycoproteins. These kits are essential for monitoring the sialic acid content of glycoproteins, as sialylation can significantly impact drug efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity. AdvanceBio Sialic Acid Profiling and Quantitation Kit allows you to profile and quantify sialic acids such as Neu5Ac (N-acetylneuraminic acid) and Neu5Gc (N-glycolylneuraminic acid) using a high-throughput workflow that can be completed in around 5 hours. Sialic acids are released via acid hydrolysis, labelled with DMB (1,2-diamino 4,5-methylenedioxybenzene), and separated using reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RP-LC) with fluorescence or mass spec detection.
