Agilent ZORBAX StableBond C8 (SB-C8) HPLC columns offer reduced retention of hydrophobic analytes compared to SB- C18 columns. The SB-C8 columns feature unique, nonfunctional silanes with bulky diisopropyl side chain groups that sterically protect the key siloxane bond from hydrolytic attack at low pH. The non-endcapped phase provides excellent stability and reproducibility for low pH and high temperature applications. Manufactured with fully porous silica in 1.8 µm, 3.5 µm, and 5 µm for use with either UHPLC or HPLC applications.
