Avantor® ACE® C18 is the optimum and most versatile starting point for most method development activities. It offers ultra-inert silica for superior peak shape and guaranteed batch-to-batch and column-to-column reproducibility. The C18 phase provides hydrophobic interactions and some shape selectivity for general reversed-phase applications and analytes, including those differing in hydrophobicity and various charged and uncharged acids and bases.
Avantor® ACE® Excel® C18 columns, with increased pressure rating of 1,000 bar, are available for UHPLC applications in 1.7, 2, 3 and 5 μm particle sizes.
