Avantor® ACE® C18-AR HPLC Columns

The Avantor® ACE® C18-AR phase utilises a specially developed ligand combining a C18 chain with integral phenyl functionality, thus combining the benefits of both C18 and phenyl characteristics into a single phase. This can be used for ‘standard’ C18 column separations, but is additionally recommended for separations that involve compounds containing aromatic functionality.
Avantor® ACE® Excel® C18-AR columns, with increased pressure rating of 1,000 bar, are available for UHPLC applications in 1.7, 2, 3 and 5 μm particle sizes.

- Part numbers beginning with ACE have HPLC hardware format with 275 bar / 4,000 psi pressure limit
- Part numbers beginning with EXL have HPLC/UHPLC hardware format with 1,000 bar / 15,000 psi pressure limit
- ACE guard cartridges for analytical columns require stand-alone guard cartridge holder H0001 and column coupler C0001
- ACE UHPLC guard cartridges require holder H0011
