All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
Agilent J&W DB-5ht non-polar GC columns are manufactured from (5%-phenyl)-methylpolysiloxane. Bonded, cross-linked, and solvent rinseable, they deliver high levels of performance in a variety of analytical processes, and feature faster elution times and excellent peak shape for high boilers. Precision engineered polyimide coated fused silica tubing results in high temperature limits of -60 to 400°C.

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.
GC Columns with a Smart Key are compatible only with the Agilent 8890 GC system. A Smart Key allows for self-configuration, usage monitoring, and help automating method development when using your 8890 GC.
