Agilent Fused Silica Tubing

Agilent J&W Deactivated and Undeactivated tubing can be used as a guard column or retention gap, and for other applications. Retention gaps are used to improve peak shapes for some types of samples, columns, and GC conditions.

Undeactivated Fused Silica or bare fused silica is commonly used for capillary electrophoresis. It can also be used for transfer lines and other applications where inertness is not critical.

Deactivated Fused Silica tubing can be used as retention gaps, guard columns, or transfer lines. Available in different formats and polarities to suit every application.

Ultimate Plus Deactivated Fused Silica tubing can be used to extend the life of analytical columns when working with heavy matrix samples such as soil, sludge, food and body fluids for semivolatiles, pesticides and drugs of abuse applications. For optimum system performance, use Ultimate Plus Deactivated Fused Silica with Ultra Inert GC columns, Ultra Inert liners, and Ultra Inert gold seals, and ensure leak-free connections with Ultra Inert treated press fit unions or Ultimate Unions and flexible metal ferrules.
