Polyimide/Graphite Ferrules from Ohio Valley
Improved mixing techniques for polyimide ferrules allow for better homogenous mixing of graphite and polyimide resin. The surfaces are very smooth and exhibit a highly polished or highly shined surface.
Available as 60% Polyimide/40% Graphite or 85% Polyimide/15% Graphite ferrules.
Features
- Composition: 85% Polyimide/15% Graphite or 60% Polyimide/40% Graphite
- Thermally conditioned and ready for immediate high temperature use
- Maximum operating temperature: 400°C
- Does not stick to glass or metal
- Lower coefficient of expansion, which reduces chances of column nuts loosing in the heated GC ovens
- Reusable if not overtightened, seals at one quarter turn past finger-tight
- Supplied in convenient dial packs
- One piece design
- Improved blend of graphite/polyimide resin
