Agilent Polaris C8-A HPLC Columns

All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
Agilent Polaris C8-A HPLC columns provide alternative selectivity for general polar applications and are designed with hydrogen-bond accepting endcapping. The C8-A phase offers reduced retention of hydrophobic compounds compared to the C18-A column. Excellent retention is observed under highly aqueous conditions while avoiding phase collapse and shifting retention times. Manufactured with fully porous silica in 3 µm for higher resolution HPLC methods or 5 µm for traditional HPLC applications.
Features
- C8 stationary phase with hydrogen-bond accepting endcapping
- Reduced retention of hydrophobic analytes compared to Polaris C18-A
- Compatible with 100% aqueous mobile phase
- USP designation of L7
- MetaGuards connect directly to the analytical column – no additional holder is required
- Polaris range also includes C8-Ether for alternative selectivity, and C18-A for increased retention of hydrophobic compounds
