All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
Agilent J&W DB-WAX GC columns are ideal for food, fragrance, and flavor applications. The column's lower temperature limit of 20°C improves resolution of analytes with low boiling points.
The DB-WAX column phase is also available in columns designed for Intuvo 9000 GC systems.
Features
- Polyethylene glycol (PEG) stationary phase
- High polarity
- Lower temperature limit of 20°C is lowest of any bonded PEG phase
- Improves resolution of low boiling point analytes
- Close equivalent to USP phase G16
- Bonded, cross-linked and solvent rinsable
- Exact replacement of HP-WAX
- Column-to-column repeatability
- Tested with the tightest industry QC specifications for column bleed, sensitivity, and efficiency
- Performance Summary shipped with each column

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.
GC Columns with a Smart Key are compatible only with the Agilent 8890 GC system. A Smart Key allows for self-configuration, usage monitoring, and help automating method development when using your 8890 GC.
