All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
ZetaSep activated FPLC columns from emp BIOTECH are designed for the immobilisation of ligands, enabling targeted purification tailored to specific biomolecules. With a choice of covalent binding technologies, ZetaSep activated FPLC columns offer customisable solutions, allowing users to select the most suitable strategy for ligand attachment. ZetaSep Activated FF6 FPLC columns are based on highly cross-linked 6% agarose and are available in two different options for ligand immobilisation.
- ZetaSep Epoxy-activated FF6 binds ligands such as sugars or carbohydrates via hydroxyl groups, or other molecules via primary amine or thiol groups.
- ZetaSep Aldehyde-activated FF6 binds primary amines, such as lysine residues on proteins, through reductive amination, forming stable secondary amine linkages for enhanced durability in purification processes.
