Packed with high-purity activated carbon, the column strongly retains PFAS contaminants originating from the mobile phase and LC system – particularly those eluted from PTFE components, such as tubing, seals or filters. These retained compounds are eluted later using 100% acetonitrile, delaying their appearance on the chromatogram and preventing overlap with analytes.
