Agilent HP-INNOWax GC Columns

HP-INNOWax is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) stationary phase that features high polarity and high upper temperature limits. It is a close equivalent to USP phase G16 and is targeted at food, flavor, and fragrance applications.

The improved line of Agilent J&W HP-INNOWax GC columns utilizes the same innovative inert processes employed in the manufacture of Agilent J&W DB-WAX Ultra Inert columns. These columns have an extended inertness lifetime that withstands repeated temperature cycling to the upper temperature limits of the column, while critical performance parameters such as selectivity, theoretical plates and retention indices remain unchanged.

A 7 inch cage is the most common GC column format, compatible with Agilent 5890, 6890, 7820, 7890, 8860, and 8890 series GC systems, and all non-Agilent GC systems with a similarly sized oven. The 5 inch cage format is designed for smaller GC ovens e.g. for the Agilent GC 6850.

GC Columns with a Smart Key are compatible only with the Agilent 8890 GC system. A Smart Key allows for self-configuration, usage monitoring, and help automating method development when using your 8890 GC.
