SiELC Primesep 100 HPLC Columns

SiELC Primesep 100 is a mixed-mode HPLC column with acidic ion-pairing groups embedded into long hydrophobic ligand chains. The ligand itself is a C12 chain and its acidic functional group has a pKa of ~1. Reversed phase and cation-exchange functionality are assembled on one molecule to provide good reproducibility and stability.

Primesep 100 is the most versatile column in the entire Primesep family for separating a broad range of compounds. It enhances retention of basic compounds through cation-exchange mechanism, separates acids by ion-exclusion mechanism, and retains neutral compounds by reverse-phase mechanism. The columns are available in all standard dimensions, with 3 µm, 5 µm and 10 µm fully porous particles, and 2.7 µm solid core particles.
