SiELC Primesep A HPLC Columns

SiELC Primesep A is a mixed-mode HPLC column with strong acidic ion-pairing groups embedded in long ligand chains. It provides enhanced retention of weakly basic compounds through a cation exchange mechanism, separates acids by ion-exclusion, and retains neutral compounds by reversed phase mode.

The method development process using Primesep A is simple and versatile. In most cases, separations require a simple mobile phase containing acetonitrile, water and TFA or formic acid. No ion-pairing reagents are required for the retention of ionizable polar analytes. The simple mobile phases allow compatibility with all common detectors (UV, MS, ELSD, and RI).
