SiELC Primesep B2 HPLC Columns

All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
SiELC Primesep B2 is a mixed-mode HPLC column with acidic carboxylic functional groups embedded into long ligand chains. It is a weakly basic column and by using a mobile phase adjusted to a pH below 5 the column surface becomes charged. This enables retention of acidic compounds by an ion-exchange mechanism and retention of neutral compounds by a reversed phase mechanism.
Features
- Primesep B2 stationary phase has weakly basic ion-pairing groups embedded in long ligand chains
- Improves retention of acidic compounds by anion-exchange mechanism
- Separates bases by ion-exclusion mechanism
- Retains neutral compounds by reversed phase mechanism
- Offers mobile phase compatibility with LC-MS
- Recommended to use ammonium acetate or ammonium formate buffers in mobile phase
- Resistant to dewetting in 100% aqueous mobile phase
- Scalable from capillary to prep
- Guard columns connect directly to columns and do not require any additional holders
