HALO® Guard Cartridge Holders, when fitted with HALO® guard cartridges, provide protection for HPLC and UHPLC analytical columns. With a robust design rated up to 600 bar, they maintain ultra-low peak dispersion and a secure, leak-free connection via a spring-loaded ZDV fitting that automatically adjusts to any 10–32 column inlet port. Compatible with all HALO® columns, they deliver reliable, cost-effective protection with minimal impact on separation efficiency.
The guard holder allows rapid cartridge replacement with an easy-to-use finger tight design. When used together, they provide both physical and chemical protection against particulates and contaminants that can shorten column life or affect system performance. Available in a range of bonded phases and internal diameters (2.1, 3.0, and 4.6 mm), HALO® guard cartridges used with the guard cartridge holder help extend column longevity and maintain consistent analytical quality across laboratory applications.
