SiELC Primesep N is a normal-phase HPLC column with embedded acidic groups with a pKa of about 5. It provides enhanced retention of basic compounds by a cation-exchange mechanism using a pH greater than 5 and can also separate polar compounds by a HILIC mechanism. It uses mobile phases compatible with all common detectors including UV and LC-MS.
