The TSKgel SuperH series comprises conventional Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) columns, optimised for high efficiency and high throughput applications. These columns, with dimensions of 6.0 mm ID × 15 cm, are filled with spherical particles made of polystyrene-divinylbenzene (PS-DVB). The series includes eight columns with varying pore sizes, ranging from TSKgel SuperH1000 to SuperH7000, alongside four mixed bed linear columns designed for an extended linear calibration curve.
Features
- High Efficiency and Throughput: Designed as high efficiency/high throughput versions of conventional TSKgel HHR columns, sharing the same bead chemistry.
- Extended Linear Calibration Curve: The inclusion of mixed bed linear columns (SuperHM-L to SuperHM-H) allows for extended linear calibration ranges, enhancing the accuracy and versatility of molecular size determinations.
- Optimised Volume: The 6 mm ID × 15 cm column volume is significantly smaller than conventional 7.8 mm ID × 30 cm columns, resulting in proportionally smaller peak volumes and potentially requiring system optimisation to minimise extra-column band broadening.
- Solvent Flexibility: Shipped in tetrahydrofuran (THF) but can be exchanged for a wide variety of organic solvents, offering flexibility in applications.
- EcoSEC GPC System Compatibility: Optimised for solvent-saving applications, these columns are particularly suited to EcoSEC GPC systems, which are designed to minimise solvent use and extra-column volume.
