All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary.
TSKgel SW series columns from Tosoh Bioscience are the first generation of high-performance silica-based SEC columns for isolating biomolecules. Based on spherical silica particles with very high internal pore volumes they feature low residual adsorption for excellent performance. Various particle sizes are avaialble with 7.8 mm ID for analytical methods and 21.5 mm ID for semi-prep applications. A choice of 125 Å, 250 Å, and 450 Å pore sizes are available to suit a range of biochromatography applications.
- TSKgel G2000SW columns with 125 Å pores provide excellent separation of peptides and proteins up to 100,000 Da
- TSKgel G3000SW columns with 250 Å pores are the best choice for separation of proteins and other biomolecules with molar masses up to 5.0 × 105 Da such as IgG
- TSKgel G4000SW columns with 450 Å pores are ideal for analysing proteins and larger biomolecules
Features
- High-Resolution Separations: The meticulous engineering of pore size distribution allows for sharp peak separations, crucial for the detailed analysis of complex biological mixtures.
- Robust Chemistry: The use of rigid spherical silica gel as the base material provides a strong foundation, ensuring column longevity and consistent performance.
- Wide Application Range: From the analysis of tiny peptides to large proteins and nucleic acids, the TSKgel SW series columns are versatile tools in the hands of scientists.
- Solvent Flexibility: The ability to operate in up to 100% polar organic solvents expands the range of applications and solvents that can be used, offering greater experimental flexibility.
- Pressure Resilience: Designed to withstand the rigors of high-pressure systems, these columns maintain integrity and performance even under challenging conditions.
