HALO® AQ-C18 HPLC Columns from Advanced Materials Technology

HALO® AQ-C18 is a C18 bonded phase prepared using a proprietary procedure that incorporates a small amount of polar silane which makes the phase resistant to dewetting. This resistance to dewetting allows the users of the AQ-C18 phase to run highly-aqueous (up to 100%) mobile phases. The modified C18 phase exhibits similar retention to HALO® C18 with a different selectivity, adding a valuable alternative for resolving difficult separations.

Available in 3 particle sizes:

  • HALO® 2 µm columns can meet or exceed the performance of most non-core sub-2 µm columns at pressures one-third to one-half the back pressure under the same conditions
  • HALO® 2.7 µm columns can meet or exceed the performance of most non-core sub-2 µm columns at pressures one-third to one-half the back pressure under the same conditions
  • HALO® 5 µm columns match the performance of totally porous 3 µm columns at roughly half the back pressure under the same conditions

HALO® AQ-C18 HPLC columns from Advanced Materials Technology are ideal for running high aqueous mobile phases for reversed phase applications. The stationary phase incorporates a small amount of polar silance which makes the phase resistant to dewetting. The modified C18 phase exhibits similar retention to HALO® C18 with a different selectivity, making it a valuable alternative for resolving difficult separations. Manufactured with Fused-Core® particle technology with 2 µm, 2.7 µm, and 5 µm for high efficiency separations at lower backpressures.
