YMC Hydrosphere C18 Analytical HPLC Columns
The separation of polar compounds in many cases requires highly aqueous mobile phase conditions to achieve sufficient retention on the stationary phase. Conventional reversed phase selectivities do not give reproducible results under these conditions mainly due to the collapse of the C18 chains. Hydrosphere C18 has been developed, on the ultra pure silica support of the ProFamily, to be stable in 100% aqueous eluents.
For ultra-fast LC applications YMC-Ultra HT Hydrosphere C18 with 2 µm particle size provides the optimal selectivity for the separation of highly polar compounds.
The Hydrosphere C18 columns from YMC are manufactured with a “hydrophilic” C18 surface that is designed specifically to enhance the separation of polar compounds. Built on YMC’s ultra-pure, pH-neutral silica, these columns are tailored for pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D, offering unparalleled performance in highly aqueous mobile phases.
