The puriFlash Dry-Load columns from Advion-Interchim Scientific provide an efficient and reliable solution for introducing solid or insoluble samples into purification workflows. By minimising sample diffusion compared to liquid injection, they deliver markedly improved resolution, separation efficiency and final purity. The solid deposit can be made using silica, C18 or Celite, offering flexibility to suit various purification needs. Unlike open cartridges, these columns simplify the process by eliminating the need for pistons or specialised adapters, making operation both faster and more convenient.
The high-pressure dry-load variants, housed in durable stainless-steel hardware, are reusable and provide enhanced resistance to pressure. These stainless-steel dry-loads are ideal for solid injections on preparative columns and in flash applications where the pressure limitations of plastic dry-loads would be insufficient.
Dry-load injection is particularly advantageous when working with samples that closely match the polarity of the stationary phase, contain compounds with extreme polarity differences, or include components with low solubility in the eluent. This versatile technique ensures greater control and efficiency in complex purification processes, making it a valuable tool for achieving superior separation and product purity.
